May was a month of visitors and fun!  Nana and Poppy came at the beginning of the month.  We celebrated Nana's birthday (belatedly) and Mother's Day (early) together.  Mommy and Daddy were in for a big treat while Nana and Poppy's visited... their first time away since having Madelyn!  YAY!  We stayed at a lovely resort near Disney World and had some much needed together time.  The kids had a terrific time with Nana and Poppy while Mommy and Daddy were  "away".  Also during Nana and Poppy's visit was another trip to the Science Center.  Everyone had a blast!


Madelyn had her 4 year old check at the beginning of the month.  She was a real trooper taking the seeing and hearing tests and blood pressure check (seriously?!), and multiple shots in stride.  She was a real chatter box with her doctor who thought she was a very smart, inquisitive child. Since her visit to the doctor, Madelyn has been frequently playing doctor to her dollies, William, Mommy, Daddy, and occasionally Molly (poor dog).  Madelyn had a super fun last month at preschool. She and Mommy really enjoyed the Mother's Day Tea, and all had fun at Water Day, and on the last day of school party.  She will really miss her teacher but we've already made plans for playdates with her school buddies this summer. 


William turned 10 months and... well... his pictures are worth a thousand words.  He is everywhere and into everything.  Mr. Busy is endlessly fascinated by sounds and textures and continues to love his baby classes at Gymboree and library storytime.  We started going to Family Gymboree and he gets a kick out of scooting after the "big" kids.  He has started playing games and loves Peek-a-Boo, blowing raspberries, and Uh-oh!  He and his sister make Mommy laugh everyday. 


At the end of the month, we had a terrific visit with Mimi and Auntie Laura.  Mommy got to spend the day with them at Universal (thanks Daddy!) and we all had fun at SeaWorld and Downtown Disney.  The kids ate up the extra attention and Mimi and Laura were very fun playmates!
