4th of July

Happy 4th of July!!  We had a lot of fun in Winter Park at the Old Fashioned 4th of July!  We listened to patriotic music, ate hot dogs and watermelon, went for a horse-drawn carriage ride!  It was HOT, HOT, HOT, HOT, HOT!!

Hollywood Studios ~ Star Wars

At the beginning of June, we went to Hollywood Studios for their Star Wars weekends. We liked the Stormtroopers Parade and seeing the characters throughout the park.  Maddie really liked the Muppets Fountain, but didn't like the Muppets 3D movie (Frozy the Bear is scary!).  

June 2009 ~ 15 months

June was a very busy month of visitors, fun trips to the beach, and lots of pool time.  

At the beginning of the month, Maddie and Mommy started 6 classes of Baby Sign Language at Gymboree. Maddie enjoyed the classes and started using some of the signs at home.  She signs "milk, more, eat, all done, bath, and dog."

Our first visitors were Nana, Poppy, and Mimi.  We went to Leu Gardens in Orlando and Cocoa Beach.  Maddie had so much fun with her extra playmates. Aunt Kelly and Uncle Daniel came to visit mid-month.  Maddie loved reading and playing with her aunt and uncle.  Grandma, Erika, and Mitchell were our final visitors at the end of the month.  We had so much fun playing in the pool, screaming on the rides at Islands of Adventure/Universal, playing mini-golf, and fun in the sun at Cocoa Beach.

Maddie had a great Father's Day with her Daddy!  She also got her 15 month pictures taken at Portrait Innovations.

May 2009 ~ 14 months

Maddie continues to be a super busy bee!!  She loves to explore and is curious about EVERYTHING!!  She's enjoying playing in her water/sand table and likes going in the pool.
