MERRY CHRISTMAS!

A very Merry Christmas to all our family and friends! We miss you all very much and send you lots of love from Florida! Enjoy a wonderful holiday!

This past Saturday, we went to MGM to see the lights display and hear the Harlem Gospel Choir's holiday concert. It was awesome!

Yes, we do live in Florida and that is a fire in our fireplace! :0) Matt lit a little fire to create a cozy atmosphere on Christmas Eve while we watched A Christmas Carol.

Here is Molly "The World's Most Spoiled Dog" enjoying a nice nap nesting in my pregnancy C-shaped pillow.

Baby's Room: Phase 1

My mom and dad were down for a long weekend, and we got A LOT of work done! All of the furniture from the yellow room (soon to be Baby's Room) was moved into the office, and the big, hunky computer desk was dismantled and moved to the garage. (Anyone want to buy a computer desk?? Hee, hee.) The only furniture in Baby's Room is the glider/ottoman. The crib and changer are coming in 3-4 weeks. :0)

Mom and I created a border across the top of the walls with decals from the Alphabet Soup theme. The decals have a cool stenciled look.

3rd Trimester

Yahoo! I am officially in my 3rd trimester... so exciting!! It's so cool to be able to feel the baby more and more. She's especially active at night. My belly continues to grow, and I am getting slower and slower. :0) I had an appointment with Dr. Stern this Monday. He's happy with "my progress" and tells me I'm measuring right on target for a mid-March due date.

This is Matt and I (week 27) before our dinner to Stonewood Restaurant...yumm-o.

Shopping...

Yesterday, I had great fun shopping for some items for our Nursery Theme (Alphabet Soup). I bought the 4 piece bedding set, wallpaper borders (have fun, Matthew), and an adorable Rainforest Mobile for the crib. The next big purchases are the crib, changing table, and stroller travel system. I can't wait to really start working on the Baby's room!! It should be super cute! :0)

Molly just loves when I come home with new gadgets and gizmos to sniff! This extremely spoiled dog is going to be in for a BIG surprise when Baby arrives... I know she'll be very loving, but I will definitely have two "babies" to take care of! :0)

If you haven't already seen these pictures, here's Molly in her Halloween costumes (a piggy and witch). The last picture is a typcial Molly pose... waiting for a belly rub. Tough life!!

Baby Shower

On November 18th, I was given a Baby Shower at my mom's house. Despite the "lovely" weather, it was a great day! I'm so thankful for all the love and hard work my mom, mom-in-law, and sisters-in-law put into the shower! THANK YOU! It was so nice to see family and friends! I was overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone... what wonderful clothes, books, and gifts for Baby!

This is a picture of me on the day of the shower. I am 24 weeks preggers! :0)

Kelly made me this adorable diaper cake (made with a pack of newborn sized diapers) and my wonderful favors... delicious "Sugar Baby" cookie jars. I just loved the explosion of pink!! :0) THANK YOU, Kelly!

Oh... the cutest, yummiest cake in the world came from Anne Louise who also made our wedding cake. THANK YOU, Toni for this fantastic cake!!

Welcome, family and friends to the Hillman Family "Blog Spot"! My friend, Leila, shared her sister-in-law's blog with me, and I thought it would be a wonderful web-tool to use to share information and pass on updates about Matt, me, Molly (woof, woof), and Baby. We thought it would be a great way to keep in touch with our out-of-town family and friends... oh wait... that's everyone!! (Ha, Ha!) So I hope you're able to "check-in" with the Hillmans every once and a while and drop us a line (or comment).

XOXO,
Susan
