Happy Memorial Day!

Last week, Nana and Poppy were down for a visit. Maddie loved smiling, cooing, and playing with them!

2 months!

Maddie was 2 months on Wednesday, and we "celebrated" with her 2 month check at the pedtrician's office. She had her physical first and then my poor baby got 5 immunizations. Maddie weighed 10 lbs., 4 oz. and was 23 inches long. She's gained 3 lbs, 11 oz. and grew 2 1/2 inches since her birth. The nurse was so fast with the shots, but not fast enough for Maddie. :O( She turned beet red, screamed, and then fell asleep 5 minutes after it was all over. Honestly, I think I was upset about the shots longer than she was.
























Maddie LOVES watching her Rainforest Mobile. She coos a lot and is constantly moving her arms and legs as she enjoys her mobile.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! I had a lovely 1st Mother's Day with Matt, Maddie, and Molly! Daddy got up with Maddie and I was able to sleep in (best gift ever)! I was given a beautiful locket with "Mom" written on it, and a bracelet with a heart charm with MRH (Maddie's initials) engraved on it! Maddie (and Daddy) have such good taste!!

Maddie had an exciting week this week! "Auntie" Leila came to visit all the way from Pennsylvania! They played and Leila made many, many wonderful dinners for the family!!

Maddie also started giving Mommy and Daddy big, old smiles! :0)
