April 2012

April was one of those months where we couldn't all stay healthy.  Madelyn and Mommy had bronchitis over Easter and William had an ear infection.  Even poor Molly had ear issues. Daddy was the only one who stayed healthy.

Despite the sickies, we had a nice Easter.  Madelyn dyed Easter Eggs using Kool Aid which wasn't a great color success but smelled nice. Madelyn enjoyed doing other Easter crafts some of which we sent up to Pennsylvania for Nana and Poppy and Grandma and Grandpa. We also had an Easter Egg hunt in the backyard... in princess costume no less. ;0)

One of Madelyn's favorite book characters is Pinkalicious.  She got "Pinkalicious and the Pink Hat Parade" in her Easter basket.  We decided it would be fun to make her own fancy hat just like Pinkalicious.  She was very proud of how it turned it. Madelyn continues to love to dress-up and has lots of fun putting on fashion shows for us.

William turned 9 months this month.  He continues to LOVE his baby class at Gymboree.  William and Mommy also started going to baby storytime at our local library which he enjoys. He continues to be a crawling, standing, pulling up machine and started to cruise on the furniture.

We had family fun at a Phillies/Braves Spring Training game at Disney's Wide World of Sports (Daddy's birthday gift).  We were all decked out in Phillies gear.  Madelyn thought the best part of the game was the popcorn. Haha!

We also went to the Orlando Science Center to see the "Bob the Builder" exhibit. Madelyn liked exploring Bob's world.  She also enjoyed the Dinosaur exhibits and LOVED Kidstown.  With a terrific deal for Family Passes, we will be back often.
