Gobble, gobble!! We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

What a great November we had! We had two sets of visitors. Nana and Poppy came to visit at the beginning of the month and Jennifer, Erika, and Mitchell visited Thanksgiving week. Jennifer, Erika, and Mitchell were the first visitors we've ever had during a holiday and we were extra lucky to have Erika cook a delicious Thanksgiving dinner for us! During their visit, we had a blast at Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure. Mommy and Daddy went on different days so someone was home with the two little ones. One of these years Maddie and William will be old enough to enjoy the "grown-up" theme park. :0) Erika visited Maddie at her preschool for their Thanksgiving Feast and we also celebrated Mitchell's 12th birthday!

Maddie and her BFF, Liberty, had a lot of fun at the Turkey Tea hosted by Amaya Papaya. As a family, we went to the Festival of the Trees to get into the Christmas spirit. Maddie's favorite part of the festival was the Children's Choir singing carols and William sat on Santa's lap. Mommy and Daddy were thrilled to take Maddie and William to see The Muppet Movie. Since seeing the movie, we have been given new identities by Maddie. Daddy is Kermit, Mommy is Fozzy the Bear, Maddie is Miss Piggy, William is Roulf the Dog, and Molly (the dog) is Walter (the newest Muppet).

William had another exciting month. He rolled over from belly to back right before turning 4 months. He is so so super close to rolling from back to belly and likes to tease us with lots of 3/4 rolls. ;0) He LOVES grabbing and chomping on his toes and grabs and shakes his little baby toys. William had his 4 month well baby check this month. He is 25" long (50% percentile) and weighs 14 1/2 lbs (25% percentile). He was such a good baby during his appointment and the doctor and nurse complimented both kids for being sweet and well-behaved. It made Momma proud.

Maddie continues to love preschool and School Skills at Gymboree. Her favorite "pretend play" activity is playing school as the teacher. She has an activity calendar/planner which she completes everyday and loves to sing her preschool songs. Her preschool music teacher says she's one of her best performers and knows all the songs for the Christmas program. We can't wait to see it! She also showed off her phonics skills to Mrs. Whitely, her teacher. While helping to set out the placemats for snack time, she correctly read each students' name. She figured out each name by sounding out the beginning sound. She was so so proud of herself when Mrs. Whitely told Mommy at pick-up time.
