September 2011

By September 1st the last of visitors had gone home to Pennsylvania (sniff) but it was time for our little family to establish our routines and schedules. Mommy became a lot more adventuresome with heading out with the two kiddos and we were happy to get back to our regular park playdates with our buddies. Daddy began his busy Fall work schedule and business trips (BOO!). Mommy is happy to report that we survived our time on our own while Daddy was away... with a little more crying and whining... from everyone! ;0)

Maddie continues to enjoy preschool. We love watching her as she grows in her independence and she continues to thrive as she learns more and more. She also continues to go to Gymboree School Skills once a week so she can play and learn with her buddy Liberty. Mommy and Maddie love our weekend fun time together as Daddy and William enjoy theirs. Mommy and Maddie went to see the Disney Princesses on Ice and saw the Winnie the Pooh movie together. Maddie had a super fun time at a birthday party at the Orlando Science Center with Daddy. Her favorite part of the party was going in the hurricane machine.

William is growing by the second and is becoming quite a little chunker. We are just crazy for his chubby cheeks! He's not the biggest fan of tummy time but as been holding his head up well. He as really strong legs and likes to push off of the floor when we're playing on his playmats. Our little man hasn't improved much in the sleeping department (major BOO!) but we decided we'll keep him anyway! Haha!! He is a happy little guy who adores his big sis! He watches her so intently and she definitely has gotten some of the biggest smiles.
