July 2009 ~ 16 months

Maddie enjoyed a fun July. We visited the animals at Animal Kingdom, took Daddy to the beach, and tried out some new parks. At the end of the month, Mommy and Maddie visited family and friends in PA. We flew up to PA to attend the funeral of Maddie's Great-Great Grandma. It was a nice day remembering the life of G-G Gma. Maddie also had a lot of fun with Nana and Poppy playing with toys and reading books. A special treat was seeing our buddies Leila and Bella and playing with them at Monkey Joe's. Super fun! Maddie also had a lot of fun with her cousins at Grandma and Grandpa's! (Mommy got her own special treat this trip... celebrating Jess's b-day with a FABULOUS 'party' at Nissley Vineyards! Woo-hoo!!)

Maddie's using more signs (bath and hat), is saying more words (sit, all done, bubbles, pop), and says some animal sounds for dog, cow, horse, elephant, sometimes lamb. She still loves to "read" to herself and dances to her music.
