Having fun...

Maddie is quite the little eater having tried (and liked) squash, pears, and peas. She made the funniest faces while trying the squash and pears, but didn't even blink the first time she tried the peas. (I, however, thought the peas were quite disgusting after trying them myself... don't tell Maddie!!)

She's been in the pool a few more times and really loves splashing. Maddie is now taking her baths in her blow-up duckie which she LOVES!! (Thank you, Aunt Marian!!) You'll be able to see the water covered mirror in the picture of Maddie in the duckie. Needless to say, she loves to splash in the duckie, too!

She seems to be showing us all the signs of teething, but hasn't popped her first tooth yet. She's drooling like crazy (but has been for about 2 months), chewing on EVERYTHING, and having some trouble staying asleep at night. Poor girl!!

Maddie loves moving her legs (bouncing, bouncing, bouncing) and still seems to be getting ready for the whole crawling thing. She gets frustrated as she reaches for a toy just beyond her little fingers. She can usually scoot forward, but hasn't gotten up on her knees yet. She sits very well and likes to play with toys while sitting. I still put the boppy behind her just in case of a flop over. Our tile floors make me nervous for her! I'm not looking forward to the falls as she begins to walk! Oh well... one step at a time!!
